Quiet Time....

Today is the first time in a long time I have felt a quiet restful peace. I can hear the birds. I can hear the refrigerator and the humming of the house and about. I've exercised. I've taken kids to school. I've gone to the grocery store. I've cleaned the kitchen . I've read my emails. I've had some devotion time. I have a lot going on in my head. I feel like going for a walk, run or jog. Yet the Lord is telling me to sit quietly with Him for a while. I feel a little like an empty nester right now, but I will obey...who knows what he wants to say to me. So I will listen.

You are my hiding place. I will trust in YOU.

Proverbs 3:5-6

This has always been my Gram's life verse. Now she has passed it on to me. She is still with us and her wisdom do I gleen. She is one amazing woman and a role model for all women everywhere. She raised 11 children all on her own and she raised them in a godly environment. I will always look up to her. Even though now she has Osteoporosis and is actually shorter than me. As a sit peacefully looking out the window I am reminded of all of the times my Gram has been then for me.  Really my entire family has Always Always Always been there for me and I am forever grateful to each and every one of them.  As my husband move closer and closer to the empty nest. I like to think of us in these songs and especially in this picture below.

I know the Lord is Always Always Always watching over us and taking care of us.

I actually wrote this some time the week of  September 3, 2012. However, I didn't think I was going to start making anything "public" again. But the GOD has told me else wise. Yes. Else Wise. That is my word. I make up lots of words and that's just what I like to do.
